Plans

So I find at this time of year I really start planing and wanting a fresh start... as September is rolling in very quickly I want to start the year off right. August is my month when I am really in my thoughts on the things I want to do. Really in my head a new year starts in September not January... this is when I have my fresh start. Because I have a hard time sometimes forming my thoughts into words I am just going to make a list of some of my goals and goofy little plans I have thought up. As August goes on I hope to have a more fine tuned plan for how I am going to make this the best year yet. I truly cannot believe I will be starting my final year of high school in just over a few weeks man does time fly! Last year did not go as well as planned it was a year filled with many road bumps but looking back I have come out of it stronger with God even closer to my side! So Lord willing I want to do what I can to make this a better year... Anyways here is my quirky list...

The Plan:
1. SELF LOVE; I am very much a perfectionist and my own worst critic so my goal is to give myself a bit of slack, forgive myself when I screw up, have confidence in my body and who I am, and be able to love myself enough so I can love others

2. Even when life gets crazy busy make time for your little you moments: My friends all seem to say do you ever not stop moving and being busy. It seems like I am always on the go and always have a lot on my plate and learning from last year that it is ok to be busy but sometimes I need to make time for me. This means making time for the little things like going out for coffee with a close friend, or putting in headphones and taking the dog for a walk etc

3. Get a piercing and dye my hair... I don't know why but I am just ready for a change and ready to mix it up a bit

4. Get a Job for the weekend and volunteer during the week: From Kenya I realized that I enjoyed being independent but that with that comes responsibility and I think it is finally time for me to get a job... I hope to apply at chapters, cobs bread, nike and this retirement home. For the week I want to give my time and volunteer. My passion is when I am helping others this is when my heart is the biggest. I want to make an impact in the community and get my eyes off myself and onto other people. Have not decided where I will volunteer but I hope to tutor and maybe start up a little basketball thing

5. Eat Clean Train Mean: Working out has always been a way to clear my head and relieve stress it is also something I really enjoy. Pushing my body to the limit and lifting weights is a fun hobby for me... lol YES fun! So my goal for this year is to continue to be in the weight room 3 times a week and really stay accountable to that even when things get busy. I also want to add Hot Yoga to the mix to work on my flexibility and to mix it up from being in the weight room. It also just seems cool to say "oh ya I do hot yoga"... haha. Also a big goal I want for this year is to eat even more clean starting in September I hope to rule out gluten and dairy completely from my diet. I do not eat that unclean now but I want to have more discipline to only put really good things into my body. I have such a sensitive stomach to food that whatever I eat it effects my day. Going to look up some fun recipes on Pinterest.

6. Buy a plant: I want a plant to bring a little bit of natural beauty into my room and have it as a fun little responsibility..

7. Blog and Journal Often: I think it is very important to record your thoughts, desires, fears, weaknesses and passions

8. Live in the moment: Truly focus just on the things around me and breath in and out and be grateful for that very second

9.  Always have at least one book on the go to have an escape from reality and to keep my mind educated with words because I am an awful speller

10. Making quiet time with God a priority everyday because without him nothing is possible

11. Meet new people, rekindle things with old friends. I just want to be a good listener and hear about all the things that set peoples souls on fire

12. Find pretty quotes; I have this thing for quotes and I don't know what it is

13.  Take more pictures of other people and capture moments

14. Just be me, smile, be confidence and be a shining light for Christ

Truly I just want to live my life in a way glorifying to God and in a way that leaves a positive impact on the people I meet while loving myself at the same time.
