Off To The Airport

I cannot believe the trip is over... It went by so fast, yesterday literally feels like we just arrived in Kenya. But I guess time flies when you are having fun. Today is a very emotional day because I do not want to go home and have to say good by to Kenya :( Words cannot describe how much this trip has met to me it is by far the best experience of my life so far. I am so grateful to God to have been able to go on this trip and for my parents allowing me to go, it has been such an amazing time.  I am going home having learned so much and coming back with a new lens to look at life through.  I am going to miss all the people I met and all the memories I made, my mental scrapbook is very full of memories and my heart is filled with many new special relationships.  This trip has been my breath of fresh air after a very tough year. I struggled with a lot this year and everyday felt challenging so to come to Kenya and to feel so much positive energy from the culture and peopl...

Pictures From The Masai Mara

Camping and going on a Safari in the Masai Mara is by far one of the coolest things I have ever done. Our time there consisted of enjoying time by the camp fire and waking up early to go on game drives. We were really lucky because we saw soooooo many animals it was so amazing and I am very grateful. Although I think I was more excited to take pictures of the sun then I was to take pics of animals. Camping in the Mara was really cool because you could hear animals close to your tent. We had to wake up at 5;45 every morning to get out and see the animals but it was so worth it, we also had breakfast in the middle of the Mara and by the river bank near the hippos and crocs. Our time there was a great last adventure to end the trip! I hope you enjoy looking at 133 pictures... lol I would write more but I sadly have to pack to go home and my room is just a bit of a bomb... Anyways enjoy all the pictures ...
